Bremen Big Data Challenge

The Cognitive Systems Lab (CSL) at the University of Bremen warmly invites you to this year's Bremen Big Data Challenge - an annual programming competition focusing on exciting topics in data analysis. Since 2016, we have been continuously developing the challenge to make it even better every year. Gesponsert wird die BBDC 2025 von: „JUST ADD AI“, „neuland – Büro für Informatik“, „Die Sparkasse Bremen“, „Tagaia“ und „Minds, Media, Machines“.

The challenge has a total of three tracks,
where you can demonstrate your skills:

  • Basic Track: For high school students.
  • Student Track: For students at universities.
  • Professional Track: Für Promovierende, Alumni,  wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter*innen, Sponsoren und Supporter.

Cognitive Systems Lab (CSL)

The CSL is a group at the University of Bremen that specializes in human-centered technologies and applications based on biosignals. This includes the capture, recognition and interpretation of language as well as muscle and brain activity. Further information can be found on our website: CSL – Universität Bremen.
