The real-world data comes from measurements taken by the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI), obtained from water samples. The data was collected in Helgoland in the North Sea and covers a period of 54 years — from January 1, 1962, to December 31, 2015.
The task is to predict emotions and context based on the recorded biosignals. In the student track, it is a person-specific task in which predictions are made for individuals for whom at least two known labels are available. In the professional track, however, predictions must also be made for individuals for whom no labels are available at all.
